Where nature heals on its own ❤️
Private tours to the Siwa Oasis
I can’t recall a single other place in Egypt with such an abundance of natural salt and such powerful sources for restoring the body and energy
About 20 years ago, in the Siwa Oasis, a rich salt deposit was discovered, marking a new stage in the region’s development
Salt began to be actively used not only within Egypt but also exported abroad
And along with this, people gained a unique opportunity to undergo genuine salt therapy right in the heart of the desert

Siwa offers two main types of salt therapy:
The first is the salt lakes
The salt concentration in them is higher than in the Dead Sea
You literally lie on the surface of the water, and your body stays afloat effortlessly on its own
It’s a feeling of weightlessness and deep relaxation

The second is salt caves
Not every hotel has them yet, but the people of Siwa are actively developing this area
The essence of the treatment is that a person is buried in salt up to the neck for 30–40 minutes
The sensations are unusual: at first the body starts to pulsate, as if every cell is coming alive, then deep relaxation sets in, and sometimes you’re even overcome by a light sleep

How does salt work?
Energetically, it cleanses, relieves negative states, fatigue, and inner blocks, as if wiping away everything excessive and superficial
Physically, salt has powerful anti-inflammatory properties, improves blood circulation, speeds up skin regeneration, helps with joint and respiratory issues, enriches the body with minerals, and promotes detoxification
The salt lakes themselves are a ritual all their own
You can bathe in them every day, but no longer than 15–20 minutes at a time
After you come out of the water, a layer of salt remains on your skin - don’t rush to wash it off
Let the salt dry and do its work; at this point it actively draws out toxins and enriches the skin with beneficial trace elements
Only afterward should you rinse off in one of the thermal springs
By the way, in Siwa all the water is thermal
It’s used in the shower, in hotels, even for cooking
The body receives gentle natural therapy through water every day
The only thing is that for brushing your teeth, it’s better to use bottled water
A few days of salt therapy in Siwa, and you feel completely rebuilt
